Ionic/Phonegap/Cordova

Install Chat on Ionic, PhoneGap using Cordova Plugin

Get your Application Id

Sign up for Applozic to get your APP_ID from the install section of applozic console.

Prerequisites

iOS

  • Apps must target iOS 10 or later
  • Latest Xcode 12.0 or later required

Android

  • Latest android studio

Cordova

  • Supports latest cordova 10

Install Chat Plugin

You can install the chat plugin by running the below command:

  1. For Phonegap/Cordova you can add the plugin by using the below command
cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-applozic
  1. For Ionic use you can use the below command:
ionic cordova plugin add cordova-plugin-applozic

Important Note:

Before calling any of applozic function from any file, you need to declare applozic variable at the end of that file

//Add this line at the end of the file where you call applozic functions
declare var applozic: any;

Plugin works on android and iOS only. For web (browser) support, check javascript plugin at: Applozic Web Chat Plugin

Android

  1. Open your /YOUR_PROJECT_NAME/platforms/android/app/src/main/AndroidManifest.xml

And add the below entry tools to your <manifest tag

xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"

Example: After adding it will look like below :

<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
    xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"

iOS

  1. Open /platforms/ios/YOUR_PROJECT_NAME.xcworkspace in Xcode.
